Pharmacy is a major that combines medical and chemical sciences, focusing on drug composition, dispensing, and their effects on the body. It aims to ensure the safe and effective use of medications in various fields like hospitals and laboratories.

Achievements

Establishment of the master program in pharmaceutical sciences in the first semester of the academic year 2011-2012.
The Faculty achieved a special capacity of 1992 students (2482 with expatriates): 1902 bachelor's degree (2378 with expatriates) and 90 master's degree (104 with expatriates).
The Faculty had registered four patents.
The academic staff have published more than 1000 research publications in international peer-reviewed journals classified in international databases.
The Faculty has held 9 international conferences in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology, and biopharmaceutics and clinical pharmacy since 2006.
The Faculty has established 9 well-equipped laboratories for scientific research purposes and established a research unit centre.
The Faculty was the first among its peers in training its students to practice pharmacy profession and medicines dispensing through the establishment of a virtual pharmacy inside the Faculty building and was the first virtual pharmacy in Jordan established in 2006.
The Faculty granted 19 Ph.D. scholarships in different fields in pharmaceutical and clinical sciences.
The Faculty has signed 27 agreements with local, regional and international research centres and universities for research, academic and student exchange.
The Faculty contributes to the community service through free medical days all over the Kingdom.
The Faculty participates in the scientific committees of pharmaceutical companies and cooperates with the Jordan Pharmacists Association and other educational institutions in organizing scientific and educational lectures and seminars.
The University received the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate in all its academic and administrative work, to be the first Jordanian University to obtain this certificate in its updated version.
Obtaining the Quality Assurance Certificate for Educational Institutions in July 2017 issued by the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission.
Obtaining the American International Certificate of Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) in February 2020 and renewing it continuously until 2026.
The University received the ISO 21001:2018 certificate in all its academic and administrative work in 2021.
